Cornelia “Connie” Moses

Cornelia “Connie” Laurie Rowlett Moses went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2023. She was born to Maudie and Ambross Rowlett on November 25, 1945, in Hondo, Texas. She graduated from Hondo High School in 1964 and attended San Antonio College.

She was married to Terry Lynn Moses on June 18, 1966, and is survived by her three children, Lisa Moses Rentz (Jerry), Kenneth Moses (Roger), and Kevin Moses (Julie); four grandchildren: Austin Rentz (Jamie), Devin Rentz, Knox Moses, Hayes Moses; and a great-grandbaby on the way, Rhett Rentz. She is also survived by three sisters, Margie Notter, Ruby Cook, and Annie Wurzbach (Robert); sister-in-law, Charie Hyatt (Gary); her precious dog, Chanel; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Connie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Terry; her parents, Ambross and Maudie Rowlett; and her brother, Albert Rowlett.

One of Connie’s favorite pastimes was playing and cuddling with her beloved dog and constant companion, Chanel. She was a fierce Canasta player and enjoyed fishing, coloring, and painting. She was also a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Elvis Presley.

Connie will be remembered for her fabulous cooking and baking, a gift to everyone in her family. She enjoyed and had a deep love for almost all country music.

Connie was a woman of faith and she enjoyed time spent with her family. She was blessed with the love of many precious friends, her family and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Currey Creek Baptist Church in Boerne. A private burial will follow the service.
