Deloris (Dee) Schoedel Goff, age 87, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023, in Fredericksburg, Texas. Dee was born on July 15, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas. Her parents were the late Charles A. Schoedel and Hildegard E. Druckhammer of Bryan, Texas.

Dee grew up in Bryan, where she graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and played the flute and piccolo. She was also a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bryan.

Dee married the late Henry E. Goff of Dallas, Texas, in 1957 at the All Faith’s Chapel on the TAMU campus. Deloris was a resident of College Station for 38 years. She worked for 20 years and retired from TAMU in 1998 as an expediter in the purchasing and stores department. Later, she moved to Boerne and then to Fredericksburg.

Dee and her husband Henry, as a U.S. Air Force officer and pilot, moved extensively during their marriage. Dee served on executive Boards of many Officer Wives’ Clubs. Dee was also a professional model and a small-business owner.

In addition, she served as first vice president of the Shreveport Louisiana A&M Mother’s Club and as a Red Cross Gray Lady. In 1991 Dee was elected to serve as a member of the TAMU Employee Advisory Committee.

Dee was a lifelong sea cruiser. She enjoyed reading, playing Mah Jongg, bingo, Mexican Train and bridge. While living in College Station she also enjoyed participating in her “Lunch Bunch.” She also actively supported many charities.

She is survived by her children, Garry (Barbara) Goff and Denise (Joel) Rollins, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at Hillier of College Station on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 2 p.m. with a time of food and fellowship immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Aggieland Humane Society.
