Donald Gene Irwin passed away at the age of 87 on October 31, 2023. Donald was born in Milford, Nebraska, to Edna Siebler and James Irwin. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1954 and served his country until 1958. He later went to work for USAA until his retirement in 1992.
Donald loved the Lord and believed in Jesus Christ. He was a member of the Boerne Bible Church. His favorite past times included woodworking and Ham radio operating. He also loved all Greyhound sports.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Robert Irwin. His is survived by his son, Terry Irwin and his wife, Tamara, of San Antonio; five grandchildren: Braydon, Dalton, Michaela, McKenna, Liam; and two great-grandchildren, Naomi and Haden.
