He is survived by his half-brother and sister- in-law, William “Bob” and Yvonne Helwig of Kerrville, Texas; nephew J. Scott Helwig of Austin, Texas; and stepdaughter Debbie Alley of Knoxville, Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda, and mother, Laura “Lolly” Conn, of Boerne, Texas. Craig was a Boerne High School graduate of 1969, a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, and a long-time resident of Boerne. He was a talented trim carpenter who enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his friends.

Craig will be deeply missed by many of his close friends whom he truly loved. Family and friends will gather at his home on 405 Sisterdale Road in Boerne, on January 20 at 4 p.m. to celebrate Craig’s life and to spread his ashes.
