Donna Lee Waldeck Miller, 80, passed away Oct. 12, 2024. Born July 12, 1944, to Lawrence Earl Waldeck and Doris Irene Edge, she was a proud graduate of Boerne High School and Texas Women’s University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business.

On Aug. 6, 1966, she married Jimmy Irwin Miller, and they raised two children, Holly Anne Miller (Chris) Taylor and Scott Irwin (Shannon) Miller. Donna was a cherished grandmother of five, Kendall, Brittany, Jordan, Samuel and Shyanne; and a great-grandmother of three, Eden, Linden and Henry.

A dedicated educator in the technology department at Marshall High School, she also co-owned Farmers Meat Market in Boerne. In retirement, she enjoyed baking, staying active at The Center, shopping with her granddaughters and attending sport events for her grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, two brothers, Gavin and Gordon, sisters-in-law Judy and Linda, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Guy Larry Waldeck, and her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 25 at First United Methodist Church in Boerne, followed by a reception. Donations in her memory can be made to the 100 Club of Kendall County or University Hospital’s transplant fund.
