Angie enjoyed needlepoint, reading, gardening, cooking, Bible study, travel, dogs, chickens and her family and friends.

A loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and faithful member of First Baptist Church Boerne, Angie served in the children’s program and volunteered at Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries. Her strong faith in Christ was an inspiration.

Angie is survived by her husband, David; four sons, Justin and wife Qiana, Benjamin and wife Cecilia, Marcus, and Gregory; two grandchildren, granddaughters Peyton and Rylee; one brother, Michael (Eddie) Bowers; one sister, Jana (Matt) Rogers; and two aunts Gayle (Bob) Howington and Kathy Comer.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 18 at First Baptist Church, 631 S. School St. in Boerne, followed by a reception.
