Jon Daniel McEachron, 59, of Boerne, passed away May 7, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Duane and Carol McEachron on May 17, 1964.

Jon attended Georgetown High School and later graduated from Texas Tech University. He worked as a highlevel applied researcher for USAA for many years. Jon was an active member of the community and was involved heavily in scouting with his two sons.

Jon is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sons, Connor and Collin McEachron, his sister, Mary Saenz, his daughter-in-law, Bailey, his grandson, Cody, and his girlfriend, Kelly, as well as his trained cat, Gibbon, and his three dogs, Zeus, Zeke and Luke.

Jon was cremated and has been laid to rest in the Colorado River, in the same manner as his parents.

Jon was an incredibly smart man who was quick to help and always had a solution to any problem you could have. He was a good father and raised his sons well. He was a doting grandfather who left us too soon.

He was always proud of his son’s accomplishments, especially their military service: Collin, who is on active duty in the Air Force and has achieved the rank senior airman; and Connor, who is a Marine Corps veteran, and achieved the rank of sergeant.

Dad, you raised us both into good men, and we cannot thank you enough for all the lessons along the way. We love you and miss you more than anyone can say. Goodbye, Dad.
