It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marie T. Griffin. She went to be with our Lord on January 7, 2024, at her home in Boerne, Texas. Marie was born on February 15, 1924, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Marie is survived by her sister, Mildred Isennock; her brother, Lawson Taitte and wife, Suzanne; three sons, Carroll E. “Skip” Griffin Jr. and wife, Linda, Jesse Griffin and wife, Nancy, and Lee Griffin and wife, Ruth; seven grandchildren, Byron and Stephanie Griffin, Jenny and Jerry Snider, Carlee Griffin, and Siobhan and Stephen Miller; and seven great-grandchildren, Alex and Ashliegh Griffin, Brooke and Ian Witt, Abigail Snider, Tai Snider and Torin Miller.

She was preceded in death by her father, Riley Taitte; her mother, Jessie B. Taitte; her son, Timothy Taitte Griffin; her husband, Carroll Edward “Rip” Griffin; her brother, Riley Taitte Jr.; and her sister, Margret Kardow.

Services will be held on January 20, 2024, at Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at noon with the Funeral starting at 1 p.m. Graveside service will follow at the Boerne Cemetery.
