Boerne ‘Snow Day’ shuts schools, city, many businesses
Twins Aleks and Gabi Rodriguez toss snow in the air while bouncing on the family trampoline Tuesday, enjoying a school snow day. Most of the region received sleet, ice and a slight dusting of powdery snow Monday night into Tuesday morning. Boerne resident Eric Worden snapped a photo of a snowy Blanco Road early Tuesday morning before the passing traffic and warmer temperatures took care of all the snow.
