LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT 

JANUARY 2

4:26 a.m., 800 block of Johns Road — Law enforcement approached a male who was looking into vehicles. It was found that his vehicle had a gas tank leak and he was trying to fix it.

6:57 a.m., Wickersham/Kilmarnock — A caller reported a male walking around the area, wearing all black and carrying a black bag.

8:49 a.m., 900 block of N. Main Street — A caller reported his trailer’s license plate had been stolen.

10:51 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A staff member reported she had detained a shoplifter in her office.

JANUARY 3

12:54 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported someone had called her pretending to be a Boerne police officer and asked the caller for $7,000.

2:11 p.m., 30000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported they had a consignment agreement for their vehicle but had not received any money when it had been sold.

9:54 p.m., 300 block of Plant Avenue — A caller reported her kids were outside playing and her daughter was assaulted.

JANUARY 4

1:25 a.m., 200 block of Ivy Lane — A caller reported she heard a loud noise in the area and was concerned it was either a gunshot, fireworks or a transformer. She added that she could hear several dogs barking.

6:55 a.m., 35000 block of W. I-10 — An employee was calling on behalf of a male who had his taillights stolen the prior night.

9:52 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported he received a phone call from someone claiming to be with Boerne PD who had left an “odd” voicemail for the caller.

10:52 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — Another caller reported receiving a call from Boerne PD in which they told her she would need to get $5,000.

2:13 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported that both of his taillights were stolen the prior night.

JANUARY 5

9:52 a.m., on Lattimore Lane/Ludwig — A caller reported she was on a walk and really got her heart rate up when she saw a python hanging from a tree. Law enforcement came to the location and found it was a stuffed animal, albeit a rather convincing one.

12:16 p.m., 700 block of N. Main Street — An elderly female called in, wanting to report an incident of theft.

12:22 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported that when she had left Planet Fitness the prior evening, she and her husband had smelt gas around the vehicle. They further noticed that there was a hole in the gas tank.

7:59 p.m., 100 block of Industrial Drive — A caller reported an individual who was coming to the office and threatening to cause issues.

JANUARY 6

1:02 p.m., 100 block of Chisolm — A caller reported a vehicle without a license plate had been parked in front of the neighborhood park for about a month.

7:23 p.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 — Two women were detained after a probable cause search.

7:31 p.m., 200 block of W. Flowing River — A caller reported his child had received a concerning text.
