The Boerne High girls soccer team played in the Georgetown Tournament last weekend where they posted a 1-2 mark.

BHS is 5-2 overall and opened district play Tuesday at home against Wagner. They’ll hit the road Friday and visit Kerrville Tivy as they continue league play.

Last weekend’s tournament was the second in a row for the Lady Greyhounds, which is done with tournament play and will only focus on district matches the rest of the way.

At the Georgetown tournament, the Boerne girls had a hard time getting its offense going and was shut out in two matches.

The Lady Greyhounds lost to Round Rock Westwood, 4-0, and also fell to Georgetown, 2-0.

Boerne’s lone win came against Pearland, 2-1, to give them their fifth victory of the season.
