Boerne and Champion high schools had a total of 45 students qualify for the 2022 UIL Academic Regional Tournament, thanks to stellar performances at the district competition.
In all, the Greyhounds had 23 students and five teams qualify while the Chargers had 22 students and five teams qualify for the regionals scheduled April 22-23. All members of the first-place team, as well as individuals who placed in the top three individually, advance to regionals.
