Several Greyhound school records fall at TISCA swim meet

The Boerne High swim team recently had four of its athletes compete at the 2024 South Zone TISCA Swim and Dive Championships in December and there were some school records broken in the process.

The four Greyhound competitors were Lauren Summers, Cooper Wagner, Cole Grotjohn and Sarah Heilesen.

Wagner set two new school records in the 50 free with a time of 21.38, earning him third overall, and in the 100 freestyle with a time of 47.33 to finish second overall.

Also, Summers set the school record for the 100 breaststroke with a 1:08.64, and finished eighth overall in the A finals.

Grotjohn finished 47th overall in the 200 Individual Medley and Sarah Heilesen placed 27th overall in 100 Butterfly.
