The Boerne High girls basketball team posted a 3-0 mark at the Boerne ISD tournament last weekend.
One of the players, Chloe Donnell, reached a milestone after she recorded the 1,000th point of her high school career last Saturday against Katy Taylor.
BHS is 13-9 overall and resumed district play Tuesday with a noon game against Pieper. The Warriors are leading the district at 7-0.
After facing Pieper, BHS is at New Braunfels Friday.
At the tournament, the Lady Hounds played two games on the first day Friday at BMSN.
The maintenance crew was putting the final touches on painting Greyhound Gym so the first day was held at the middle school. The tourney returned to BHS on Saturday.
On Friday at BMSN, Boerne beat Southwest Legacy, 67-17, and then defeated Floresville, 73-54, to start 2-0.
Boerne returned Saturday to Greyhound Gym and took care of Katy Taylor, 66-48.
The BISD girls teams only played three games and could have made it four, but would have had to play against each other and decided not to since they are in the same district.
Boerne is 4-2 in 26-5A and sitting in fourth place heading into Wednesday. Kerrville Tivy is also 4-2 but beat Boerne in the first round.
