LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT 

December 18 9:44 a.m., 1100 block of N. Main Street -- A caller reported three bags of trash fell off a truck and were causing a traffic hazard.

12:03 p.m., 1300 block of N. Main Street – Two vehicles were involved in a collision and one was unable to move out of the way, causing an issue for ongoing traffic.

12:08 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported her neighbor was smoking marijuana and was blowing smoke into her air conditioning vents.

12:31 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller was concerned his bank account had been compromised.

December 19

8:25 a.m., at Charger Boulevard and River Road – A caller reported two vehicles were involved in an accident and were on the side of the road.

8:34 a.m., 100 block of Bluebonnet Circle – A caller’s car was stolen during the night.

7:33 p.m., 36000 block of W. I-10 – A caller wanted to report an acquaintance for harassment.

8:11 p.m., 100 block Hampton Cove – A caller reported that something had slammed into the front door. When they investigated, they did not see anything but requested law enforcement to check the area.

December 20

9:14 a.m., 600 block of W. O’Grady – A caller reported his vehicle was vandalized overnight.

10:45 a.m., 300 block of E. Theissen Way – A caller reported a male who appeared to be homeless rang the caller’s doorbell before making his way down the road.

1:12 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported almost $3,000 had been stolen from Walmart.

3:57 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported someone stole a $200 gift card out of his wife’s vehicle while they were inside the store.

7:34 p.m., 800 N. Main Street – A caller reported two males came in attempting to buy beer for underage kids.

December 21

9:06 a.m., 100 block of Cimarron Creek – A caller reported turning on the fireplace and the residence smelling very strongly of gas. Boerne F.D. arrived to investigate but found nothing wrong.

12:14 p.m., 100 block of Medical Drive – A caller reported a male was attempting to deliver a pizza at 1 a.m. The caller said the male did not knock or ring any doorbells but was looking around the area.

3:08 p.m., 100 block of Coyote Circle – A caller reported someone had defecated in her car the previous night.

3:56 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported two panhandlers by the exit of the store who had returned after being asked to leave earlier that day.

December 22

10:32 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller was concerned about black smoke around Burger King. Boerne F.D. came to the location and, after not seeing smoke, contacted the staff, which explained they were “just throwing down some fresh cheeseburgers.” Dispatch further noted: “#FlameGrilled #American.”

2:12 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported her purse was stolen out of her cart while she was shopping at HEB. The caller was able to locate the individuals using a tracking app.

December 23

4:31 a.m., 500 block of Fabra Street – A caller reported hearing a shot fired at his apartment complex. Law enforcement spoke to other individuals, who had not heard anything.

8:21 a.m., 100 block of City Lake Road – A caller reported a lab mix was running around the area, bothering people. Although the dog was not aggressive, Animal Control was contacted.

10:18 a.m., 800 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported a van had been sitting outside the location for almost five hours.

2:09 p.m., 300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a theft had occurred the previous day and said they had video surveillance of the incident.

December 24

9:25 a.m., at Rosewood/Esser – A vehicle ran into a home. The driver, the lone occupant, suffered injuries. No one in the house was hurt. Electricity and gas were shut off while the accident was managed.

3:22 p.m., 900 block of River Road – A caller reported they were receiving harassing text messages.

6:40 p.m., 100 block of La Cima – A caller reported smoke coming from a roof. Boerne F.D. responded and found that it was just some neighbors barbecuing.

9:36 p.m., 100 block of Bluebonnet Circle – A caller reported a woman was hanging out on the sidewalk in an all-white outfit.

December 25

12:25 p.m., 100 block of Katie Court – A man came into the lobby to report possible fraud.

1:40 p.m., 300 block of English Oaks – A caller reported a missing license plate.

2:29 p.m., 100 block of Hampton Way – A caller reported a dog that lived near the caller had jumped the fence and attacked the caller’s dog.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

December 18

5:39 a.m., 100 block of Old Comfort Road – A caller reported a truck parked on their driveway and that someone with a flashlight was roaming around their field. The caller said it was their neighbor’s house and they were typically only home during the summer. Law enforcement made contact with the homeowner who said he gave someone permission to hunt on the property.

9:10 a.m., 2400 block of FM 473 – A caller reported seeing a vehicle with out- of-state li- cense plates pull into an area where construction materials were being stored and the caller was concerned.

12:58 p.m., 200 block of W. View Point Drive – A caller reported she was on a walk with her daughter and five loose dogs were coming after them.

1:22 p.m., 2000 block of FM 1376 – Twelve sheep were reported to be crossing the road, making their way to a Christmas play where they had agreed to play the role of Santa’s reindeer.

4:22 p.m., 29000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a rental vehicle that was being fraudulently rented, with the individual attempting to sell the vehicle on Facebook Marketplace.

December 19

7:52 a.m., Highway 46/FM 3351 – A caller reported a dog who wondering around the area. The caller was concerned the dog was going to cause an incident.

2:33 p.m., Highway 87/FM 473 – A two-vehicle collision was reported. No one required medical attention, but a wrecker was required.

3:19 p.m., mile marker 540 W. I-10 – A traffic stop was conducted for a felony stop. A woman was detained and a consent search was done. The woman was then released.

8:25 p.m., at Navarro/Sentido – A caller reported someone was trespassing onto their pickleball courts.

8:45 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a male was attempting to steal a jacket. Law enforcement came to the location and detained the male.

December 20

7:48 a.m., mile marker 540 E. I-10 – An 18-wheeler hit a guardrail and destroyed its rear axle.

11:46 a.m., 200 block of Miraval – A construction manager reported more than $5,500 of construction materials was stolen overnight.

3:54 p.m., mile marker 529 E. I-10 – A caller was concerned his vehicle might have been stolen during the night. After further investigation, it was found the vehicle had been towed.

9:08 p.m., 500 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported a male was putting signs up illegally on the side of the road.

December 21

12:18 a.m., 100 block of Oak Forest – A caller reported a neighbor for playing loud music, an ongoing issue between the two.

6:54 a.m., 100 block of Allen Road – A caller reported a vehicle on the side of the road. Law enforcement found the driver had run out of gas and was lost.

10:31 a.m., mile marker 545 E. I-10 – A two-vehicle collision occurred. There were no injuries, but a tow truck was needed to remove a vehicle from the roadway.

3:06 p.m., 200 block of W. View Point Drive – A caller reported a neighbor’s dogs running loose, which was a recurring problem.

7:47 p.m., on Chapparal Hill Drive – A caller reported she received a harassing text.

December 22

9:02 a.m., on Spring Hill Drive – A caller reported they trapped a raccoon and needed it picked up.

9:54 a.m., 100 block of Besito – A caller reported about $4,000 of materials had been stolen from the location.

2:47 p.m., on Cascade Caverns – A caller reported a group of people who were consuming alcohol while playing soccer.

4:38 p.m., 200 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a male who was dressed in dark clothes who was throwing his arms around and cussing.
