December 14

SANTA PANCAKE BREAKFAST from 10 a.m. to noon at Triple H Equitherapy, 791 Backhaus Road, Pipe Creek. Enjoy Triple H’s horses, a visit by Santa, pancakes, games, crafts and a hayride to the North Pole. Free and open to the public.

SANTA PAWS VISIT: Bring your pets to meet Hill Country Animal League’s very own Santa Paws at one of their three pop-up events on Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St. from 10 a.m. until noon Dec. 14-15 and capture a paw-fect holiday photo. Photos are $25; all proceeds go toward HCAL. Sign up at www.hcaltx. org/santapaws.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE PARTY by Frosted Jack Tavern, 412 S. Main St., from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Gather your friends for a festive gingerbread house party. Decorate mini gingerbread houses, sip festive holiday libations (both spirited and non-spirited) and enjoy the ultimate Christmas fun.

A BLUEGRASS CHRISTMAS at the AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center, 102 City Park Road, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come listen to the sounds of the season as talented bluegrass jammers playing banjos, fiddles, guitars and more play Christmas and traditional bluegrass music in the warm and cozy Pioneer House at The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center. They’ll be serving hot cocoa with marshmallows and Christmas cookies. This is a free event.

December 17

HOLIDAY KIDS’ NIGHT at Texas Roadhouse, 23102 Interstate 10 West, from 4-8 p.m. Face painting, crafts, line dancing, free desserts and an appearance by Andy the Armadillo. Dine-In and get your pictures with Santa from 6-8 p.m.

December 20

KINDER FEST WEEKEND: Bring the kids for a weekend full of Christmas fun. Everyone is encouraged to show off their ugly Christmas sweaters, silly Christmas pajamas and Whoville hairdos. Friday and Saturday will include a Cookie Crawl and a Santa Scavenger Hunt on the Hill Country Mile. On Saturday and Sunday, meet Santa and enjoy Cowboy Christmas Market Days. Details: Boerne Retail and Restaurant Owners Association’s Facebook page. UGLY SWEATER PARTY from 8:30-10 p.m. at Frosted Jack Christmas Tavern, 421 S. Main St. Bust out that sweater Grandma made you wear and join them for a night of festive fun. It’s all about the laughs, cheers and embracing the cozy, ugly fun of the season.

COWBOY CHRISTMAS MARKET Days: Find a unique last-minute gift at the annual Cowboy Christmas Market from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St. It will be bustling with booths featuring everything from collectibles to modern innovations that bring a smile of wonder to those who stroll past.

December 22

NORTH POLE WORKSHOP: This is a three-hour “Drop Off” event, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Wonderland Factory, 137 Industrial Drive in Boerne. Parents are invited to stay if they want, but the day is designed to allow parents to finish up any shopping or “to-do” list tasks. There will an assortment of “make and take” projects for the kids, a gift wrap station in case any of the projects are gifts, and themed crafts, games and snacks.

December 24

CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY by nineteen:ten church from 6-7 p.m. You are invited to join them on Christmas Eve for Christmas in the City at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St. There will be great music, an inspiring message, free hot cocoa and a candlelight celebration of Jesus’ birth. Bring a chair and the whole family for “Christmas in the City” with nineteen:ten church.
