SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio woman with business connections to Boerne faces years in prison after being arrested Tuesday on criminal charges related to allegedly obstructing and attempting to obstruct an ongoing federal fraud investigation.

According to court documents, the FBI and IRS Criminal Investigation are conducting a federal investigation into an investor fraud scheme in San Antonio and Lubbock alleging Brooklynn Chandler Willy, 45, obstructed and attempted to obstruct that investigation by producing false documents in response to a federal grand jury subpoena.

According to documents, Willy was the owner of a San Antonio based company named Queen B Advisors LLC, doing business as Texas Financial Advisory (TFA), and was the owner of Chandler Capital Holdings.

Texas Financial Advisory maintains an office in the 200 block of North Main Street in downtown Boerne.

The indictment alleges that in or around May 2021, Willy recommended a married couple invest $500,000 into a company, using Chandler Capital as the agent to execute and deliver contracts. The couple agreed and wrote a check for Chandler Capital to deposit for their agreed upon investment.

Rather than depositing the check for its intended investment, the indictment alleges Willy used the couple’s $500,000 for her own purposes, including personal credit card payments, payments to other investors, and payments to another business owned and controlled by Willy.

According to the indictment, in response to a federal grand jury subpoena, Willy produced a false loan agreement which falsely purported to have been signed by the victims.

Willy again produced this document to federal agents during an interview on Nov. 19, 2024, and made false statements about this document and other matters.

Willy is charged with one count of obstruction of, and attempt to obstruct, an official proceeding, one count of false statement, and one count of aggravated identity theft.

A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

According to its website, Texas Financial Advisory provides “a comprehensive suite of financial planning and wealth management services designed specifically to meet the needs of Boerne, Texas residents.” Among its financial services, as listed on its website, are retirement planning, investment and financial management, tax and estate planning, and insurance.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Joe Blackwell and Kelly Stephenson are prosecuting the case.
