Geneva School of Boerne’s Colton Lutz had a night to remember on Tuesday when the Eagles boys basketball team visited Schertz John Paul II to open district action.
It just didn’t seem like Lutz could miss as he tallied 42 points to set a new school record to help the Eagles win the game, 88-60.
Geneva improves to 14-2 overall and 1-0 in district. They were home Friday to host Holy Cross and then visit New Braunfels Christian Academy Tuesday as they continue league play.
After that, Geneva is in the Marble Falls Faith Academy Tournament, Dec. 20-21, and then hosts their own tourney, Dec. 30-31.
In Tuesday’s game, Wyatt Bruss added 20 points and Jake Roberson finished with 18 points as Lutz, Bruss and Roberson combined for 80 of their 88 points.
