Louise Herbst Curington

Louise Herbst Curington went to be with her Lord and loved ones on April 10, 2022. She was born October 28, 1935, in Kimble County, Texas, to Charles William (Bill) Herbst and Thekla Land Herbst.
Louise married Jack Curington on July 12, 1960, and started her life as a homemaker. She was an excellent cook and baker, and family looked forward to her pralines, fudge and meringue cookies at Christmas time.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Curington; her brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Adeline Herbst; her brother, Victor Herbst; her sister and brothers-in-law, Myra Whitfield Ward, J. Harry Whitfield and John Ward; her special friend, Jim Davies; and her great-nephew, Karl Herbst. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Norene Herbst; her nephews, Clifford W. Herbst Jr. (Karron) and Charles Herbst (Randy); nieces Rhonda Hrna (Edward) and Darla Douthit (William); numerous great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on April 14, 2022, at the Boerne City Cemetery.
