The Boerne High girls basketball team played in the Georgetown tournament last weekend where they posted a 1-3 record.
Jenna Ruede was named to the all-tournament team for the Lady Greyhounds.
BHS is 7-9 overall and resumed district play Tuesday at Smithson Valley. They’ll host Champion Saturday in a district meeting. The girls varsity game starts at noon at Greyhound Gym in their first meeting in hoops history.
At the tourney, the Lady Hounds lost to Leander Glenn, 60-32, fell to Coppell, 35-29, and was also edged by Liberty Hill, 45-41.
Boerne’s lone win at the tourney came against El Paso Hanks by 20 points, 45-25.
BHS coach Amy Ruede said the team was moved to the gold bracket on Saturday because Glenn and Coppell didn’t want to play in that bracket.
