The Comfort boys basketball team was on the road and picked up a dominate win Tuesday at Center Point, 67-16.
CHS improved to 3-2 overall and played in the Harper Tournament this weekend. After the tourney, the Bobcats are at Marion on Tuesday.
Comfort jumped on Center Point early and was up 22-5 in the first quarter.
It was more of the same in the second, as the Cats again held CP to 5 points, while they dropped in 17 for the 39-10 lead at the break.
The Bobcats outscored Center Point in the third, 24-2, to open up a 63-12 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
It ended with both teams scoring 4 points in the final period.
Comfort knocked down nine 3-pointers in the game and were paced in scoring by Trent Berry and Alex Padilla, who both dropped in a dozen points, with Berry hitting two 3s.
Jaydin Steward netted 11 and had a 3, Jovani Zapata drained three 3s for 9 points, Jackson Deer scored 6 points, Omar Rivera recorded 5 points and had a 3, Mark Hernandez finished with 4 points, while Chris Kessov and Bryce Hanna each hit a 3 to finish with 3 points apiece and Jared Valadez chipped in with 2.
Berry pulled down 11 rebounds to make it a double- double, Valadez dished out 4 assists and Steward came up with 5 steals.
