CIBOLO WATCH PARTY: Come to Hunke Gathering Hall at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Farm, from 5-8 p.m. for a meetand- greet, film screening and panel discussion of “Common Ground,” a powerful regenerative agricultural documentary. Meet regenerative farmers and conservation leaders, Mollie and Ryland Engelhart from Sovereignty Ranch and Ben Eldredge with the Cibolo Conservancy.

WINTER PRAIRIE BIRDING at Cibolo Nature Center. The class runs 9 a.m. to noon and consists of two hours of instruction and one hour of guided practice in the field. Bring binoculars and a bird field guide if you have them; there are some to loan if you don’t. Dress for a bird walk: long pants, dull colors, walking shoes and a hat. Depending on the weather a warm coat, gloves, and a rain jacket may prove necessary. NEST OPEN HOUSE at the Herff Farm. Please join The Nest for their Open House from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meet the Nest staff, learn about their curriculum and the schedules they offer, and tour their unique classroom cottages and outdoor play areas.

JINGLE 5K WALK benefiting Transformation House. Runs start, staggered, beginning at 8 a.m. This year’s race will begin and end at the Patrick Heath Amphitheater, 451 N.
