Boerne High made the drive down to Corpus Christi to play in the CCISD tourney last weekend.
It was a strong showing by the Greyhounds after they posted a 4-1 record at the tourney and finished in third place in the Gold bracket.
Greyhounds coach Kimble McHone said the tournament didn’t announce any all-tournament selections.
BHS was 7-2 heading into Tuesday’s non-district game with Wimberley, and after that, the Hounds visit Medina Valley Wednesday before opening district action on Dec. 3 at home against Veterans Memorial.
At the tourney, the Greyhounds opened the event with a pair of wins last Thursday. They defeated San Antonio Lanier, 65-41, and then ran past Rio Grande City, 62-36.
On Friday, Boerne beat San Marcos, 58-47, before losing to New Braunfels, 49-41.
The Greyhounds closed out the tourney with a 64-56 win over LEE for third place.
