BHS boys entered in Corpus Christi tourney

Boerne High made the drive down to Corpus Christi to play in the CCISD tourney last weekend.

Greyhounds coach Kimble McHone said the tournament didn’t announce any all-tournament selections.

BHS was 7-2 heading into Tuesday’s non-district game with Wimberley, and after that, the Hounds visit Medina Valley Wednesday before opening district action on Dec. 3 at home against Veterans Memorial.

At the tourney, the Greyhounds opened the event with a pair of wins last Thursday. They defeated San Antonio Lanier, 65-41, and then ran past Rio Grande City, 62-36.

On Friday, Boerne beat San Marcos, 58-47, before losing to New Braunfels, 49-41.

The Greyhounds closed out the tourney with a 64-56 win over LEE for third place.
