Gift drop-off deadline: Dec. 18

The Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office, alongside the Boerne Police Department and Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department, is accepting toys and identifying children in the community to be recipients of the Kendall County Blue Santa Toy Drive.

The Kendall County Blue Santa was established to provide families in need with assistance in providing their children with Christmas gifts that they would not otherwise receive.

Once more the sheriff’s office is partnering with Hill Country Family Services, Boerne ISD, The GVTC Foundation, American Legion Post 313, Cavender Cares, Cordillera Cares, VFW Post 688 and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Foundation to help serve the needs of our community.

In 2023, approximately 530 children were able to receive gifts with the assistance of generous community donations.

Families in need can stop by the sheriff’s office, or the Boerne or Fair Oaks Ranch police departments to obtain an application. All completed applications must be turned in to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office no later than Dec. 16.

To help as many families as possible, the Blue Santa Program cannot fulfill applications if a recipient is registered at multiple organizations, or if the family is not a Kendall County resident.

Members of the community can pitch in by supplying new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls from infants to 16 years old.
