Roberta Poulis

Roberta Poulis

June 9, 1944 – January 9, 2022

It’s not possible to condense into a few lines a life as meaningful as the one lived by Roberta Ann Poulis.  She came into this world June 9, 1944, left it on January 9, 2022, and in those 77 years left an indelible imprint on every life she touched.

Preceded in death by her soulmate and husband of 23 years, Byron Poulis, she is mourned and will be forever missed by their two children, Kathy and Crissy; spouses John and Joan; grandchildren Connor and Kylie; her beloved dog, Laverne; extended family; and a host of cherished friends.

None of these lives will be the same without her but are so much richer because she was a part of them. By her own example, she taught us all to sing like no one was listening, to dance like no one was watching, and to love like it was never going to hurt. Godspeed Mom/WoWo/Bert/Bobbie. You are forever in our hearts.
In honor of her wishes and in lieu of a funeral, there will be a celebration of life on Saturday, January 15, at 2 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Kathy Cornett, located at 148 Woodland View, Boerne, Texas 78015.

Oh, Bert … I’ve now had 3 years to find out what life is like without you, & let me tell you - it’s no picnic. I’m happy you’re with Byron & my folks again, but I’m selfish; I’d rather have you here with ME! A lot of people have touched my life, but no one quite like you did, my dear friend. You made me better. I miss you. I love you. I always will. (P.S. your guy was voted back into the White House. Hope you’re happy.)
