Boerne High suffered its first loss of the season in boys basketball after the Greyhounds were defeated by Southwest Legacy Tuesday.
The Titans topped the Boerne boys Tuesday on the road, 55-47.
The Greyhounds are 1-1 overall and hosted Southside Friday. They’ll play Marshall Tuesday at the Harlan Gym.
Casen Hoegemeyer led the team with 19 points after he was 8 for 10 from the field in 2-point range, Nic Hernandez, Slade Salinas and Julien Hartman added 8 points apiece, while Dalton Cunningham finished with 4 points.
Hartman grabbed 5 rebounds and Salinas and Hoegemeyer both snagged 4 boards, while Noa Sanchez tallied 3 assists, Cash McPeak had 3 steals and Hartman had 2 blocks.
Vs. Highlands
In last weekend’s win vs. Highlands, Hoegemeyer dropped in a dozen points, Hernandez added 10 points, Hartman finished with 8 points and Sanchez netted 7.
Salinas, Hoegemeyer and Hernandez all collected 6 rebounds, Sanchez tallied 4 assists and Hernandez came up with 5 steals.
