Basketball season is here for private schools and UIL girls

The 2024-25 high school basketball season has arrived for private schools and also for the UIL girls teams.

The Champion girls hosted San Antonio Christian Friday and visit Harlandale Tuesday.

Boerne High hosted Antonian on Friday and also welcomes Holmes on Tuesday.

The Geneva girls visited Alamo Heights Friday and host Mason on Tuesday.

The Geneva School of Boerne boys opened their season this weekend at the Castle Hills Tournament that started Friday morning.

Geneva is scheduled to play Regents, San Marcos Home School, Victoria Academy and IDEA Burke at the tourney. They’ll host SACS early next week.

The UIL boys teams open their seasons this coming week.
