In honor of the Boerne Greyhounds celebrating 100 years of football in 2024, the Boerne Star will go back through its archives and publish something in every weekend’s issue during the regular season relating to the Boerne High football team from over the years.
We didn’t have to dig too deep into the archives for this week’s edition. Back in 2022, the Boerne High football team played for the 4A DI state championship in Arlington at AT&T Stadium or Cowboys Stadium. The Greyhounds returned to Boerne as the state runner up. BHS finished 15-1 that season and broke just about every school record along the way.
