Amanda Marie Mangold

Amanda Marie Mangold, 49, of San Antonio, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 203 Stonegate Road in Boerne.
Amanda was born on December 16, 1972, in San Antonio, Texas, to Michael and Karen Majorka. She was a graduate of Clark High School in San Antonio. On September 18, 1992, she married her first love, Ian Mangold, in the Dallas, Texas, Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Amanda had many health challenges beginning at birth and throughout her life. However, she graduated high school, married and had two beautiful daughters and three grandchildren. She loved her family and extended family and never forgot a birthday. She especially loved family gatherings.
Amanda loved collecting and sharing recipes with family and friends. When she was younger and in better health, she also enjoyed crafting and making gifts for her family.
Amanda is survived by her beloved husband, Ian; her daughters, Leslie Rodriguez (Saul) and Caitlin Mangold; her mother, Karen Majorka; her sisters, Natalie Sterneckert (Kevin), Samantha Rios (Eric) and Laura Wilde; her brothers, Michael Majorka (Krissi) and Joshua Majorka (Sara); and her grandchildren, Noah, Aria and Saul Jr.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Michael Majorka; her cousin, Gina Vollaro; and her brother-in-law, Jesse Wilde.
