Lucy Rose Taylor
February 19, 2019 – April 3, 2022
Lucy Rose Taylor, 3 years old, went to be an angel Sunday morning, April 3, 2022. She has here on earth three siblings, Ella, 10 years old; John “Charlie,” 8 years old; and Thomas, 20 months old. Mommy and Daddy, still here on earth, are Chantelle and John “J.C.” Taylor. Lucy was born February 19, 2019, at the North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio.
Out of the four children her mother had, she was the only one who had to come out via C-section. From her differing birth on, she always continued to have her unique ways. She was known by her Mini Texans teacher, whom she loved, as “The Hot Mess Express” because her hair would be messy all the time and she would call her teacher by her first name without the “Ms.” in front.
She was one of the funniest yet toughest little girls and would make all of her siblings either laugh or cry. She loved driving her little brother, Thomas, around in her Power Wheel, and she would point to things in the yard insisting they be moved so she could continue driving.
She was a confident little lady, going up the stairs and sneaking into Ella and Charlie’s room without them knowing so she could steal a few toys. When she would get caught, she would always deny the fact that she went into their rooms. Her love was strong for her siblings – she just loved to tease them, too.
The possibilities for Lucy were endless. Now though, she will be an angel watching over her family – teasing them, bossing them around and loving them from above.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 1 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Boerne. Interment will follow at the Boerne Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to a charity of your choice.
