MURDER MYSTERY MASQUERADE: A night of intrigue and deception awaits at an immersive Murder Mystery Masquerade at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort. Put on your detective hat and prepare to become part of a thrilling “Whodunnit” experience, enacted and guided by American Immersion Theater. Tickets are $50. Ghostly tales of local legends will be shared as participants unravel the mysteries of nature after dark. ANNUAL ‘BOERNE BOO’ fall festival is hosted each year around Halloween at the PHPL Library at 451 N. Main St. The free family-friendly event includes arts and crafts, trick-or-treating, bounce houses, carnival games, food trucks, music and lots of candy and prizes for costume contest winners. Pets are welcome.
BOERNE CEMETERY TOUR: Listen to voices of history tell tales of the past on the “Gone But Not Forgotten Tour” of Boerne Cemetery. Actors and volunteers portray over a dozen “residents” of the cemetery, 700 N. School St. Tours start at the east gate at 10:15, 10:45 and 11:15 a.m.
INTRO TO BIRDING: Discover how to refine your birdwatching skills; this class will prepare you for fieldwork by teaching you what to observe and how to use essential birding tools effectively. The class will be at the Nature Center Auditorium, 140 City Park. Two hours of instruction, followed by one hour of guided field practice. Bring binoculars; tickets available at cibolo.org.
