Veterans Day is fast approaching, and the Boerne Star wants to recognize all who have served our country with their enlistment, their service ... even their lives.
Between now and Nov. 1, we invite Boerne residents to submit photos of their veterans — friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors or themselves — to be included on the Boerne Star Veterans Day Remembrance supplement, publishing on Nov. 10. Photos must be submitted in jpg format. The email needs to include the individual’s first and last name and branch(es) of service. Submissions may also include: years of service; rank obtained; any “conflicts” served; and a special mention for soldiers who lost their lives during service.
Final submission date for inclusion in the Nov. 10 Veterans Day issue is 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1.
