The Boerne Champion volleyball team took care of business Tuesday at Veterans Memorial after they swept the Lady Patriots.
Champion claimed the 25-15, 25-16, 26-24 victory and improved to 7-2 in district. They’ve won three in a row to stand at 28-6 overall.
Champion hosted Smithson Valley Friday and is off Tuesday before visiting Alamo Heights Friday.
Ella Coleman and Brielle Boothe both finished in double-digit kills after Coleman tallied 12 kills and Boothe added 11 kills.
The Chargers served it well and dropped in 10 aces after Boothe had 3 aces and Briley Wolff added 2 aces, while five other players dropped in one ace apiece.
Wolff recorded a block and Coleman came up with 13 digs, while Azteca Crawford chipped in with 9 digs and Samantha Calderon and Boothe came up with 8 digs each.
Crawford also totaled 26 assists.
