LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

March 14

2:04 a.m., 1381 S. Main St.- An employee reported there were about four people parked who were drinking and breaking glasses. One man was arrested as a result.

7:22 a.m., 1102 River Rd.- A resident became combative in a lockdown unit, trying to break a window with his cane. He also began pulling out electrical plugs in a wall. Staff was afraid he would hit them.

10:52 a.m., 1000 block Diamond- A woman reported her car stolen last September. It was found four days later, but she was still getting pulled over because her vehicle was showing up as stolen. Officers contacted Bexar County who said the vehicle was entered into license plate recognition software, which BPD officers said they don’t use. They advised her to call the San Antonio Police Department.

4:17 p.m., 32400 block I-10 W.- A woman was concerned a trailer someone dropped off at her lot may have been stolen because the business card the man left had no contact info and none of the addresses appeared valid.

5:20 p.m., 1381 S. Main St.- A woman reported a man was pleasur ing himself in his vehicle parked in front of the home and garden section.

6:33 p.m., 200 block Hickmann- A woman believed her 28-year-old son was high on meth and needed police. She said he had a pistol but didn’t think he would be combative. Later that evening, the son was dropped back off, saying he was told by police his mother would be moving out.

7:10 p.m., 100 block W. Evergreen- A man called police after chasing two kids off his property. An officer said he’d speak with the parks department to have a no trespassing sign put out.

Officers also conducted 32 security checks, made 22 traffic stops, assisted the public 20 times, removed four traffic hazards and worked six false alarms, there non-injury accidents, three animal calls and one reckless driver.

March 15

8:40 a.m., 200 block Hickman- The man accused by his mother of doing meth called 911, saying his mom is “looney” and accusing him of being strung out. He said she was crying about a broken door.

11:51 a.m., 200 block Cibolo Ranch- A man who worked with a utility billing department was concerned when someone knocked on a window to get his attention as he passed by.

3:52 p.m., Herff and River roads- A concrete truck was broken down in the turn lane on Herff Road.

4:48 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- A caller as concerned about three young men trying to get into the back of Boerne High School. Officers found there were students and staff all over campus, so a crime was unlikely.

4:57 p.m., 124 Old San Antonio Rd.- A sexual offense was reported in Boerne.

Officers also conducted 42 security checks, made 18 traffic stops, assisted the public 18 times, removed five traffic hazards and worked four false alarms and five non-injury accidents.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

March 14

12:58 a.m., 527 MM I-10 E.- Two individuals were arrested during a traffic stop.

8:59 a.m., 20 block Poehnert Rd.- A man accidentally locked his keys along with his 8-month- and 18-month-old children in his vehicle. He called back about 10 minutes later, and he was able to get the window down to get his keys and kids.

10:50 a.m., 130 FM 1376- Vandalism was reported at the church.

12:02 p.m., 20 block Dodge Rd.- A man reported someone broke into his trailer.

8:17 p.m., 200 block Platten Creek- A man reported a small pickup truck was speeding through the area, and several passengers in the bed of the truck kept screaming.

Deputies also conducted three security checks, made 19 traffic stops, assisted the public 16 times, removed two traffic hazards, served a warrant and worked three false alarms, one non-injury accident and two reckless drivers.

March 15

6:09 a.m., 500 block Oakridge Dr.- A man reported a man was seen looking through a bedroom window.

1:08 p.m., 100 block Red Bird Court- A woman reported receiving nude pictures via email.

4:11 p.m., 600 block Deer Rd.- A woman reported several vehicles were moved from her property without her permission. Deputies tried to look up the report but had trouble getting back ahold of her.

10:43 p.m., 100 block Idelwilde Blvd.- A woman believed her neighbor was outside her property, blowing cigarette smoke into her house.

Deputies also made 23 traffic stops, assisted the public 12 times, removed two traffic hazards, served a warrant and worked five false alarms, one non-injury accident, one animal call and one reckless driver.
