Tickets on sale for final Performing Arts event

BOERNE — Before the lights go down on the final performance of Boerne Performing Arts’ 12-year span, the spotlight will be on four legends of the Broadway stage appearing for the Dec. 12 grand finale concert.

These highly acclaimed veterans of Broadway played to a packed audience in the 11th season bringing the gravitas and star power of performing the role of the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s longest running musical, The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, for an astonishing combined 6,000 shows.

Returning for this holiday- themed concert will be Brent Barrett, John Cudia, Franc D’Ambrosio and Ciarán Sheehan. Another element of this special performance will be the reunion tour vibes with the inclusion of special guest Kaley Ann Voorhees, best known for her portrayal of Christine in The Phantom of the Opera.

Voorhees delighted the Boerne audience when she also accompanied the quartet in their previous appearance with Boerne Performing Arts. The performers will be under the talented musical direction of Ryan Shirar and will present iconic music from Broadway as well as extraordinary renditions of holiday favorites.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. Dec. 12 in the Boerne Champion auditorium.
