SEPTEMBER 07

ALL THINGS SEEDS: Join an informative and engaging community event that combines seed saving, seed exchange, and seed propagation at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Road. This class is perfect for gardeners of all levels who are interested in preserving, sharing, and propagating seeds. Class will go from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Tickets are $15 and available at cibolo.org.

TUG THE TRUCK: Support your local first responders at the fourth annual Tug the Truck event, hosted by 100 Club of Kendall County. Beginning at about 8:15 a.m., the event is being held at the Black Rifle Coffee Company, 101 S. Main St. Sign up today at www.raceentry.com. Comprised of teams of 10 for the fire truck pull and teams of 3 for the police car push.

BLOCK PARTY HOSTED by Black Rifle Coffee beginning at 6 p.m. Join the team at Black Rifle Coffee and their neighbors for an old-fashioned block party at East San Antonio Avenue. Enjoy live music, great food and drink, and a car show.

SIP AND SHOP Mama’s Night Out: Calling all moms and moms-to-be for a night of shopping, hat-making and wine sipping. The shopping event runs 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the 248 North Main Chateau, 248 N. Main St. BOERNE AREA DEMOCRATS will host their monthly meeting at 6 p.m. at the Longhorn Café in Boerne, 369 E. Esser Road with quest speakers Joseph Kopser and Susan Korbel. Kopser is a public speaker, consultant and former CEO. He also graduated from West Point and has run for Congress. Korbel is a candidate for Bexar County Commissioners Court.

THE BOERNE CHAMBER will hold a ribbon- cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. for Premier1 Auto Care and Rev’d Auto Styling at 7831 Lost Creek Gap suite B.

SEPTEMBER 14

TREE CARE WORKSHOP: Learn how to care for newly planted trees along with maintaining your existing trees throughout the seasons. The workshop runs 9-10:30 a.m. at 33 Herff Road.
