Area Crime Reports

The following is a brief recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT 

AUGUST 28

9:19 a.m., 100 block of Kronkosky – A caller reported a woman in the front parking lot yelling at everyone.

10:46 a.m., 1300 block of Main Street – A caller wanted to report a hit and run that had occurred a week earlier.

1:29 p.m., 400 block of English Oaks – A caller reported a male who was walking around, going through vehicles. The caller was concerned that the male was stealing from other people’s vehicles. Law enforcement investigated the matter and found everything was OK.

3:59 p.m., 100 block of Mission Lake – A caller reported shingles had been stolen from the location.

AUGUST 29

12:38 a.m., 700 block of River Road – A caller reported she was receiving harassing text messages.

5:18 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported she had been approached by two males in a parking lot and was feeling uneasy about the situation.

6:31 p.m., 300 block of S. Esser Road – An employee reported a male who appeared to be intoxicated and was stumbling when he left the location. Law enforcement located the vehicle and contacted Bexar County.

AUGUST 30

4:04 a.m., 1400 block of S Main Street – A suspicious person was detained and taken into custody.

9:05 a.m., 300 block of River Road – A caller was concerned about two male who appeared to be holding a gun. Law enforcement investigated the situation and found no criminal activity.

9:40 a.m., 300 block of W Low Cascade – A caller reported there had been fraudulent charges on her bank account.

12:26 p.m., 600 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported a former employee had made threats and sent harassing messages.

5:30 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported her purse had been stolen from her locker at work.

AUGUST 31

8:16 a.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A staff member reported having issues with a particular male all week. The staff member called in to report that the male had returned to the location.

10:59 a.m., 100 block of Winding Windmill – A construction worker reported smelling gas after seeing a broken gas line. Boerne FD was called to the situation to handle the matter.

6:11 p.m., 1700 block of River Road – A vehicle with a stolen license plate was reported to be driving through town.

7:01 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – An individual reported her significant other was blowing up her phone despite her changing phone numbers multiple times.

8:21 p.m., 300 block of Bentwood – A woman was reported to be walking around, looking in vehicle windows.

SEPTEMBER 1

12:32 a.m., 100 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported a male had pulled up to the location and was looking in the business despite it being closed.

1:55 a.m., 100 block of Lina – A walker reported a house garage door open and front door open.

2:10 a.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported her former significant other had stolen her phone and wouldn’t give it back. Law enforcement came to the location and she was detained.

11:17 a.m., 800 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller reported two males who were drunk and had fallen at the location. The caller added they were yelling and screaming.

9:03 p.m., Water Street/Bess Street – A caller reported hearing four gunshots in the area.

SEPTEMBER 2

10:05 a.m., 7900 block of Fair Oaks Parkway – A caller reported he had been bitten by a dog the previous weekend.

12:37 p.m., 1100 block of Grand – A caller reported her jewelry stolen around three weeks earlier.

1:08 p.m., 100 block of City Lake – A caller reported a group of teenagers were climbing on the spillway despite being asked not to. The caller asked for law enforcement to assist with the situation.

4:43 p.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 – A male and female were detained after a probable cause search.

SEPTEMBER 3

8:40 a.m., 33000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported credit card fraud at the location.

11:09 a.m., 100 block of Jordan Place – A caller reported he received a scam email where the scammer asked for $2,000 or threatened to hack the caller.

1:55 p.m., 300 block of Bentwood Drive – Another caller reported she was receiving blackmail threats.

3:11 p.m., 100 block of Clear Water – A woman came in and reported her vehicle had been burglarized.

FAIR OAKS RANCH POLICE DEPARTMENT

AUGUST 26

— A vehicle was reported to be stolen in the 30000 block of Cibolo Run. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

— A loose dog was reported in the intersection of Venturer and Silver Spur. The dog was returned home.

— A traffic hazard was reported at Rolling Acres Trail and Post oak Trail intersection. City public works department was notified.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 8000 block of Flagstone Hill.

— A fire alarm was reported in the 7000 block of Triple Crown. When emergency services were on the way, the alarm was cancelled.

AUGUST 27

— An ambulance was called for a male in the 29000 block of Seabiscuit Drive. The male was taken to a local hospital.

— An instance of fraud was reported in the 7000 block of Dietz Elkhorn.

— Animal Control was contacted for a dead armadillo in the 290000 block of Grand Coteau. They were able to remove the carcass.

— A dead deer was reported to be in the road in the 31000 block of Silver Spur Trail. Officers came and removed the carcass from the location.

AUGUST 28

— A city ordinance violation was reported in the 29000 block of Millwood Way.

— A dead skunk was reported in the 7000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway. The carcass was removed from the location.

— A loose goat was reported in the intersection of Fair Oaks Parkway and Leslie Pfeiffer Drive. The goat was returned to his residence.

— Officers responded to a 911 hang up in the 8000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway. When they arrived, they found the back door open. Officers investigated and found everything was OK.

— Juveniles were reported to be disruptive in the 700 block of Pimlico Lane. Officers were unable to locate juveniles at the location.

AUGUST 29

— A theft was reported in the 28000 block of Stevenson Gate.

— Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 29000 block of Windchime Hill, but officers found everything was secure.

AUGUST 30

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 30000 block of Keeneland Drive. An officer contacted the owner of the vehicle and found everything was OK.

— Law enforcement assisted the public with a matter in the 7000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road.

— An instance of fraud was reported in the 7000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road.

— A dead deer was causing a traffic hazard in the 29000 block of Fairway Bluff. The carcass was removed from the location.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 29000 block of Ralph Fair Road.

AUGUST 31

— A deer was reported to be injured in the 8000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road. The situation was handled and the deer carcass was disposed of.

— A theft was reported in the 7000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road.

— Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 8000 block of Fairway Trail. An Amazon van was found to be parked in front of a residential driveway.

— An instance of disorderly conduct was reported in the 7000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway.

SEPTEMBER 1

— A loose goat was reported in the 9000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway. Law enforcement was unable to locate the goat.

— An instance of fraud was reported in the 30000 block of Cibolo Run.

— An ambulance was called for a male in the 7000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway. The male was transported to a local hospital.

— Officers assisted the public in the 8000 block of Noble Lark Drive

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

AUGUST 28

7:22 a.m., Brandt Road – A caller requested assistance with a feral cat.

7:48 a.m., 100 block of Wollschlaeger Drive – A caller requested a possum or raccoon they had trapped be picked up from the location.

11:25 a.m., mile marker 539 W. I-10 – A vehicle was reported to have flipped and was in the center median of the interstate. The driver was OK and refused EMS services.

12:12 p.m., 200 block of Fifth Street – A caller reported a truck had deliberately driven across the caller’s yard, tearing up his lawn. The caller expressed to dispatch that he suspected it was due to his political signs.

12:20 p.m., 100 block of Dodge Road – A caller reported a male who was riding his bicycle in the middle of the road, forcing traffic to go around him.

AUGUST 29

1:29 a.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – A male was detained during a traffic stop. The male was read his rights and a blood draw was done.

10:58 a.m., 100 block of Paradise Path – A caller reported two dogs in his backyard. The caller was unsure how the dogs even got in as his gate was still locked.

5:13 p.m., 800 block of High Street – A male was on the location, causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the location. Law enforcement located and detained the male.

AUGUST 30

1:56 a.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox – A caller reported people were stealing parts off vehicles and a firearm was flashed at him. The individuals ran off before law enforcement got to the scene.

8:35 a.m., 100 block of S. Wagon Wheel Drive – A loose pit bull was reported to be running around and aggressive. Before law enforcement came to the location, the caller located the owner and the dog was returned.

12:12 p.m., FM 1376/Wild Cheery Lane – A woman was reported to be at the location screaming and hollering while walking around.

3:15 p.m., 600 block of Pleasant Valley Drive – A male came into the lobby to report he was receiving threats and was being harassed.

5:19 p.m., 100 block of Ammann Road – A pony was reported to be stuck in barbed wire along the river.
