James Russell Tabor Sr.

James “Jim” Russell Tabor Sr. of Blanco, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in Houston, Texas. Jim was born May 23, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas, to Russell John Tabor and Constance Mae (Kelley) Tabor.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tommy Tabor. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sandee (Royal) Tabor; sons Russell “Rusty” Tabor and wife Mary (Graham) Tabor and Jason “Toby” Tabor; brothers Danny Tabor and Patrick Tabor and wife Arlene; and six grandchildren, Ryder, Jack, Ella, Hailey, Joslyn and Reid Jr.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Blanco. Funeral services honoring Jim’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Blanco United Methodist Church with Pastor Carlos Cloyd officiating, 61 Pecan St., Blanco, TX 78606. Interment will follow in Mt. Sharp Cemetery near Wimberley, Texas.
