The Boerne High volleyball turned in a strong showing at the SAISD Tournament where they went 6-0 and took first place at the event.
BHS won its three pool games on Friday and also tallied a 3-0 mark in bracket play to run the table. They improved to 11-3 overall and began district play Tuesday at home against Wagner before playing in the Kerrville tournament this weekend.
Ava Rocchio and Lauren Magnus were both named to the all-tournament team.
Not only did Boerne not drop a match, but they also didn’t drop a set.
Boerne opened pool play with a 25-7, 25-1, win over Eagle Pass Winn. They also beat Burbank, 25-13, 25-10, and then closed out the first day with a sweep of Southwest Legacy, 25-14, 25-23.
The Lady Hounds returned Saturday and swept Highlands, 25-21, 25-13, before they crushed Corpus Christi Moody, 25-10, 25-13.
Boerne wrapped up the title with a 25-16, 25-17, victory over Burbank to finish off a perfect record at the tournament.
