Editor,
I was speaking with a Republican friend of mine, and he brought up the subject of politics. I am an independent among so many who consider themselves to be Republican.
My friend commented that Kamala Harris would be bad for our country.
So, I said, “Then she must be the one who caused the attack on our Capital and said she would free those convicted?”
He said, “No, she did not cause or say such.”
So, I said, “ She must be the one who is obsessed with dictators, and apparently desires to be one?”
He said, “No, she does not appear to be obsessed with or desire to be a dictator.”
Then I said, “She must be the one that wants to deport all of the undocumented who construct our roads, build our buildings, pick up our trash, and clean our houses?”
He said, “No she does not want to deport all of them.”
I ended with saying, “I know somebody is responsible for causing or saying those things, and I believe it is her opponent. So, who is it that will be bad for our country?”
He would not answer, but said, “I am through discussing politics with you.”
