The Boerne track and field team recently competed in Wimberley at the Texans Relays.

The BHS girls were 5th with 59 points and the boys were 6th with 41 points.

BHS also competed at last week’s Antler Relays in Kerrville. For results of that meet, look in the Boerne Star.

Wimberley Results Varsity Girls

Eleanor Davis placed 3rd in the 3200 with a time of 12:05.75, while Sophia Brumley was 4th in the 200 with a time of 26.90 and Savannah Seibert was 6th in 27.40.

Mary Marino finished 3rd in the 1600 after clocking in at 5:26.20 and Eleanor Davis was 6th in 5:36.50.

The girls 4x200 took 3rd in a time of 1:49.60 and the 4x400 placed 5th in 4:21.00.

Kayuki Warren came in 3rd in the pole vault after she cleared 8-6, Kendall Lemm went 5-0 in the high jump for 5th, Allie Browning had a measurement of 33-7.50 for 5th in the triple jump, while Ashley Clingman won the shot put with a toss of 36-11 and was 5th in the discus with a throw of 99-3 and Averi Aaron came in 4th in discus after she flung it 99-8.

Varsity Boys

Chase Balderas and Cole Palmer were 5th and 6th in the 3200 with times of 10:59.64 and 11:01.48.

McCoy Bruce placed 3rd in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.78 and Bruce was 4th in the 300 hurdles after running a 45.60, while Caleb Hamby was 6th in 46.08.

The 4x400 teamed up for a time of 3:39.53 that was good enough for 3rd, while McCoy Bruce picked up field points after he finished 4th in the pole vault after he cleared 11-6.

Riley Pechacek won the triple jump after he went 44-8.75 and Kaiden Fischer took 6th in the shot put with a toss of 45-3.75.
