BOERNE LITTLE LEAGUE World Series “Watch Party” — Join A Signature Production for a free LLWS Watch Party beginning at 2 p.m. at The Kendall, 128 W Blanco Road, for the Boerne Youth Athletic Association’s U.S. Championship game. They have five screens, an indoor venue and lots of free goodies. Party slated to run 2-5 p.m.
A WINE TASTING at Saint Tryphon Farm and Vineyards: Indulge Wine Bar has partnered with a local vineyard, Saint Tryphon, for a fun-filled wine tasting event from 5-8 p.m. Guests can expect an evening of wine education, samples and light bites provided by Indulge. LITTLE LEAGUE RETURN: The members of the Boerne (Southwest) Little League World Series return from the Williamsport, Pennsylvania event on Monday and will be welcomed back by a parade down the Hill Country Mile. Wear your best orange and yellow (Southwest team colors) and welcome the players and coaches back to town. The team will be escorted by Boerne Police Department, Boerne Fire Department and Cavender Chevrolet for a procession down Main Street around 4:45 p.m., with an official “Welcome Home” from local officials beginning at 5:15 p.m. in Main Plaza. The event will wind up with food, drinks and family-friendly fun. This event is free and open to the public. (NOTE: Times for this event are subject to change, based on the team’s travel schedule.)
