LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. BOERNE FIRE DEPARTMENT

AUGUST 14

9:06 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller was concerned about a vehicle parked behind a business location with an occupant.

9:56 a.m., 500 block of Frey Street — A caller reported someone had parked in front of her house, blocking anyone from coming in or leaving.

4:40 p.m., 100 block of Rolling Creek — A caller reported his son’s phone had been stolen at school that day.

5:27 p.m., 100 block of Bluebonnet Circle — A resident came in to report harassment she had been experiencing.

7:43 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported her golf cart was stolen and she suspected she’d found it on Facebook Marketplace.

AUGUST 15

4:45 a.m., 200 block of Huntwick Drive — A caller reported their vehicle as stolen.

5:58 a.m., Teleford Way — A caller reported her vehicle was stolen during the night; she said she has video surveillance of the theft.

6:55 a.m., 100 block of Giverny — A woman reported her vehicle was stolen during the night.

9:01 a.m., 200 block of Branson Falls — Another caller reported his vehicle had been stolen during the night.

1:51 p.m., 100 block of Desert Flower — A caller reported a vehicle had been parked in front of her house for four days.

AUGUST 16

8:00 a.m., River Road/Esser Road — Law enforcement was alerted to a vehicle in the area with a stolen license plate.

8:05 a.m., 200 block of Lohmann Street — A caller reported a male who was taking pictures of women in the area. It was found that the male had been reported on three other occasions.

12:44 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported a male and female were panhandling in the parking lot.

4:17 p.m., 1500 block of S. Main Street — Law enforcement was notified of another vehicle in the area with a stolen license plate.

11:07 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road — A caller reported a vehicle consistently parked in front of the location while its occupants smoke weed.

AUGUST 17

7:03 a.m., 200 block of S. Plant Avenue — A caller reported finding a dog who was trying to get in a quick round of golf.

7:12 p.m., 100 block of City Lake — A male was reportedly yelling at a woman near the parking lot. An officer came to the location and an individual was detained.

8:22 p.m., 200 block of Flowing River Drive — A van with a history of being used to steal building materials from other site locations was again seen near a construction site.

8:44 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A male was reported to be at the front of the store, asking people for money.

AUGUST 18

10:00 a.m., 36000 block of W. Interstate 10 — A caller reported someone had smashed his vehicle’s window. The caller wasn’t sure if anything was stolen.

12:06 p.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported someone had been contacting her despite a “no contact order” in place.

1:07 p.m., 1600 block of River Road — A manager reported 30 to 50 bags of salt stolen from the location.

1:26 p.m., on S. Main Street — A male was reported to be shoplifting from this location. Law enforcement located the male and he was detained.

2:07 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported a male who had pulled down his pants and was urinating on the sidewalk.

August 19 

12:02 a.m., on Ranger Creek Road — A caller reported a vehicle struck the guard rail, causing damage. Emergency services came to the location and the driver was detained. 

1:02 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported his ex-girlfriend vandalized his car while he was at the gym. 

7:16 a.m., 1000 block of River Road — A caller reported her vehicle’s window had been broken. She was unsure if anything had been stolen. 

8:44 a.m., 100 block of Chesternia Drive — A caller reported an instance of identity theft.  

10:34 a.m., 1400 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported staff had vandalized the property this weekend.  

August 20 

1:47 p.m., 200 block of W. Low Cascade Road — A caller reported building materials had been stolen from the location. 

2:19 p.m., 100 block of Green Meadows — A woman reported an instance of fraud. 

8:50 p.m., 100 block of Whisper Way — A caller reported a speeding vehicle that almost hit the caller. The caller said a verbal confrontation had occurred after the driver almost hit him. 

9:16 p.m., Wickersham/Kilmarnock — A caller reported a “slightly beaten up” vehicle had been circling the neighborhood. 

 

FAIR OAKS RANCH FIRE DEPARTMENT

AUGUST 12

— A male tried to purchase a vape pen with a fake ID in the 29000 block of Ralph Fair Road.

— A missing person was reported in the 8000 block of Connemara Drive. The juvenile was located.

— A traffic hazard was reported in the 7000 block of Dietz Elkhorn. Additional officers were sent to the location for traffic support.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 29000 block of Capstone Walk. Officers contacted the driver and found everything was secure.

— A stray cat was reported in the 31000 block of Scarteen and was transported to the Boerne Animal Shelter.

AUGUST 13

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 7000 block of Pimlico Lane. An officer contacted the driver and found everything was secure.

— A resident in the 28000 block of Royal Ascot was concerned about a fox frequenting their property. Dispatch provided them with a list of pest control providers.

— An instance of fraud was reported in the 29000 block of Summit Ridge Drive.

— An officer found a vehicle with its hazards on in the 29000 block of Ralph Fair Road. The officer assisted with traffic control until the vehicle was cleared.

— An injured skunk was reported in the 28000 block of Ruffin Drive, but it ran off before Animal Control could arrive.

AUGUST 14

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 29000 block of No Le Hace Drive. An officer ran the license plate of the vehicle and found everything was secure.

— An animal control officer removed a dead possum from the 29000 block of Hansel Drive.

— A loose dog was reported in the 29000 block of Duberry Ridge.

AUGUST 15

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 8000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road. Law enforcement investigated the matter and found everything was OK.

— Police assisted another law enforcement agency in the 8000 block of Monument Oak.

— A random traffic cone was reported to be in the middle of the road in the 8000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway.

— A theft was reported in the 31000 block of Woodbine Way.

— Law enforcement was contacted for a dead cat on the side of the road in the 8000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road.

AUGUST 16

— A traffic hazard was reported in the 29000 block of Ralph Fair Road. An officer came to the location and removed the debris from the road.

— A reckless driver was reported in the 600 block of Ammann Road. It was found that the driver was outside of city limits.

— Police assisted another law enforcement agency in the 29000 block of W. I-10 with traffic control.

— A civil matter was reported in the 31000 block of Keeneland Drive.

AUGUST 17

— Fair Oaks officers assisted another agency with traffic control in the 9000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway.

— An ambulance was called to the Gate Forest/Pfeiffer’s Gate area for a male experiencing dizziness.

— A residential alarm went off in the 29000 block of Elkhorn Ridge. Officers came to the location and found it had been in an accident.

AUGUST 18

— A suspicious person was reported in the 9000 block of Fair Oaks Ranch Parkway. Officers found everything was secure.

— An open garage door was reported in the 31000 block of Keeneland Drive. An officer contacted the homeowner and found everything was OK.

— Medication had been found on the side of the road in the 8000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road.

— A deceased skunk was reported in the 8000 block of Alydar Circle Oaks. An officer came to the location and the skunk was removed.

7:33 a.m., 800 block of FM 289 — A caller reported a puppy on the side of the road. The caller was concerned the puppy had been hit by a car.

8:34 a.m., 100 block of Cascade Caverns Road — A caller reported two loose dogs in the area.

10:11 a.m., mile marker 537 E. I-10 — A caller reported a child who had his pants around his ankles on the side of the road. The caller clarified they were concerned about how close the child was to the road.

2:22 p.m., on Old #9 — A caller reported she had been bitten by a snake on her property. Animal control was requested to come to the property

 

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF"S OFFICE

AUGUST 15

11:00 a.m., 7700 block of Ranger Creek Road — A caller reported her former partner had been making threats and was on the way to her house. The partner came to the location and attempted to take their child. The partner was taken into custody.

11:07 a.m., mile marker 533 W. I-10 — A caller reported a vehicle had flipped and was on the shoulder of the road. EMS was called to provide medical assistance at the location.

7:44 p.m., on Cascade Caverns — A caller reported hearing screaming in another room. The caller added that a woman was calling out for help.

11:13 p.m., Johns Road/I-10 — A caller reported a male sitting cross-legged on top of a vehicle.

AUGUST 16

12:34 a.m., Antlers Way/Hunters View — A caller was concerned someone was trying to shoot a deer on his property.

8:00 a.m., River Road/Esser Road — A truck with a stolen license plate was reported to be driving on the road.

11:12 a.m., on ResortWay — A caller reported his wallet stolen; transactions had already been made on the account. The caller said there was a surveillance video of the event.

AUGUST 17

12:15 a.m., 200 block of Mountain Creek Trail — A caller reported a truck was parked in a hidden brush area.

1:17 a.m., 100 block of Trophy Drive — A caller reported being harassed on social media; the perpetrators were threatening to release his private images.

12:53 p.m., on Schmidt Lane — A caller reported her RV had been stolen and sold to someone in Boerne.

6:33 p.m., 400 block of Upper Cibolo Creek Road — A caller reported a bull had gotten out and was roaming the parking lot. They were able to get the bull back in its pen before assistance arrived.

8:26 p.m., 200 block of S. FM 3351 — A donkey, not happy with his provided dinner, was looking around for his other options.

11:20 p.m., 200 block of Comfort Place — A caller reported receiving calls from someone who was threatening to shoot the caller.

AUGUST 18

12:28 a.m., 800 block of Evergreen Street — A caller requested assistance with a deer stuck in a fence.

3:11 a.m., 100 block of Clear Sky — A caller reported he had been shot three times and his car had been stolen. Medical services were called to the location. CPS was also called to the location for a situation.

10:04 a.m., 1400 block of FM 1376 — A caller reported a woman who was continuously driving back and forth through the same intersection.

7:552 p.m., on Jean Drive — A caller was concerned about a raccoon who was walking in the area. The caller said the raccoon didn’t appear to be scared and its eyes were glowing.

AUGUST 19

6:02 a.m., 37000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported her vehicle had been broken into. The caller said multiple other vehicles in the area had been broken into.

6:39 a.m., 200 block of Main Street — A caller requested assistance with a porcupine who was invading his property.

4:05 p.m., 100 block of Los Indios Ranch Road — A caller reported his horse had gone missing and he couldn’t find it. He called back to say he’d located the horse.

11:00 p.m., 100 block of N. Highway 87 — A caller reported a driver falling asleep on the road. A deputy checked in with the driver and found he has very sensitive steering and was doing OK.

August 20 

12:17 a.m., 500 block of Highway 289 — A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the area. Law enforcement found two teenage occupants who were just talking.  

1:17 a.m., I-10/Highway 87 — A caller reported someone crossing the road where they weren’t supposed to. 

2:40 a.m., N. Highway 87 — A staff member reported a homeless person who was repeatedly bothering customers at the location. The individual was issued a criminal trespass warning. 

9:16 a.m., 100 block of River Ranch Road — A caller reported an individual, dressed in camo, coming onto her property and stalking her. 

10:02 a.m., Oak Ridge Drive — A caller reported his lawn mower and weed eater were stolen over the weekend.
