Hello Kendall County from your 2023-2024 Fair Queen. My name is Hailey Johndrow and I have had the immense honor to serve as your queen for the past year. And what a year it has been!
A huge thank you to R and D Security for sponsoring me this year. Without your support, the year wouldn’t have happened.
Another huge thank you to my parents, Quentin and Lara Johndrow, whose support and cheering I will forever be thankful for.
A special thank you to the association's directors for the time and energy they put into making the year a success.
This year was exceptionally memorable because of the beautiful and amazing friendships created with my court; Princess Lila Morrison Jr., Miss Michaela Reichenau, and Little Miss Raylee Resop. You girls made the early mornings worth it and the late nights full of laughs. I pray each of you have an amazing future full of all the success you can dream.
I want to thank Kendall County and the surrounding areas for welcoming my court to parades and festivals with open arms. From right here at home, all the way to the Watermelon Thump in Luling, we were treated like royalty.
I hope everyone joins us this year for the 118th annual Kendall County Fair, which kicks off with my final walk on the fairgrounds as queen. Come out and support the young ladies vying for a spot as the newest court. Then come back for a whole weekend of fun, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1.
Join me for my favorite part, the rodeo, each night featuring UPRA/LCRA Bronc Riding, roping, barrel racing, and bull riding plus mutton bustin' for the kids.
The carnival will run all weekend, and the fair food will be flowing! Don’t forget to be on Main Street early for your spot to watch the parade on Saturday, starting at 10 a.m.
Thank you again, Kendall County, for making the dream of becoming a queen reality. I wouldn’t change a minute.
