Boerne Independent School District Athletic Director Stan Leech was named the Texas High School Athletic Directors Association Region 8 Administrator of the Year.
Over the past year the BISD Athletic Department has had tremendous success, including the Boerne Greyhounds boys soccer team winning the 2021 4A state championship, as well as the Champion Chargers girls swim team 400-free relay winning a Class 5-A gold medal, and the Greyhounds and Chargers boys basketball teams both advancing to the UIL State Final Four, among many other accomplishments.
Leech is in his 35th year with BISD, including the last 22 as Athletic Director.
