Scorecard playoffs determined the winners of both flights in the Tapatio Springs Men’s Golf Association 2-man scramble tournament held Friday, July 19.
The original tourney was scheduled to be a 2-man member/member best ball format over two days, but the first day was rained out.
The MGA board decided to come back on Friday and make it a one-day golf tournament using a 2-man scramble format.
There were two flights and 38 players competing and both winners of the flights were determined by a scorecard playoff.
RESULTS: Flight 1
* 1st place - Gary Etherington and David Arneson; 2nd place – Frank Cohen and Ron Bowman; 3rd place - JJ Montanaro and Brett Motheral; 4th place – Kim James and Frank Koehler and *5th place – Keith Martin and Alex Abramson. *scorecard playoff
