BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

July 17

11:22 a.m., Main Street/Christus Parkway — A caller reported an unoccupied vehicle on the side of the road. A tow truck was called for the vehicle.

6:21 p.m., 200 block of Woods of Boerne — A caller reported someone had hacked into her account and spent $6,000.

7:57 p.m., 200 block of Vizcaya — A caller reported a possible gas leak at the location. Boerne FD came to the residence to investigate the situation.

JULY 18

6:39 a.m., 200 block of W. Granite Shores — A caller reported he was at his friend’s house and an unknown woman was going through the garbage and taking mail. Law enforcement came to the location and detained the woman.

6:56 a.m., 600 block of N. Main Street — A caller reported a male walking around the parking lot, smoking and looking into people’s cars.

9:52 a.m., 1000 block of Diamond Drive — A caller reported hearing gunshots in the area.

8:20 p.m., 1200 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported he had been scammed online and lost over $9,000.

11:52 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road — A caller reported a teenager had stolen alcohol from the location and then jumped in a vehicle and left.

JULY 19

8:09 a.m., 200 block of Main Street — A caller reported a suspicious looking person in the back of the business. The caller then thought him to be part of the landscaping crew.

4:54 p.m., Oak Park/Herff Road — A motorist was reported passed out behind the wheel. The male was detained and taken to jail.

JULY 20

3:52 a.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox — An unamused tenant reported that loud music had been going on for over an hour.

1:08 p.m., 1500 block of S. Main Street — Law enforcement was alerted of a vehicle accident. Two ambulances were called to transport people to the hospital.

9:39 p.m., 1100 block of River Road — A caller reported two males had gotten into an altercation and one of the males had been injured.

JULY 21

11:29 a.m., 90 block of Herff Road — A suspect was detained after a probable cause search during a traffic stop.

111:30 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported a male was stumbling around the parking lot, as though he was intoxicated, and looking into vehicles. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was detained.

12:16 p.m., 1100 block of N. Main Street — A caller reported they suspected someone broke into, and tried to steal copper from, their location. The caller was unsure if anything else had been taken.

2:04 p.m., 200 block of W. Highland Drive — A caller reported his wife had been grabbed by one of the other patients and thrown her out of the room.

JULY 22

12:21 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — An employee was concerned about a woman in a van who had the lights on and kept hitting the brakes. Law enforcement suspected the woman may be on narcotics and she was taken to the ER.

1:33 a.m., 800 block of River Road — Three women were detained and a probable cause search was conducted.

5:57 a.m., 800 block of Johns Road — A caller reported a suspicious looking male and female walking around the apartment complex, looking in windows.

12:51 p.m., 600 block of N. Main Street — A woman came into the lobby to report a theft.

5:18 p.m., 500 block of W. Bandera Road — A caller reported people soliciting on each side of the interstate bridge. Both individuals left when they saw the law enforcement vehicles.

JULY 23

3:51 a.m., 100 block of Indigo Bend — A caller reported he saw two and three men messing with his neighbor’s trailer. Law enforcement came to the location and found the trailer was OK.

9:25 a.m., 100 block of Herff Road — A caller reported someone had called their office, saying that someone was going to kill them.

2:42 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road — A staff member reported they had apprehended a shoplifter at the location.

— An animal call was reported in the 30000 block of Cantor Circle for a trapped raccoon. The Animal Control officer advised the resident to contact a pest control company for the matter.

— An instance of criminal mischief was reported in the 7000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway.

Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 8000 block of Monument Oak when a child found a knife. An officer took possession of the knife.

— An animal call was reported in the 30000 block of Cantor Circle for an aggressive fox in the area. The animal control officer provided the resident with advice.

FAIR OAKS RANCH POLICE DEPARTMENT

JULY 16

— Officers assisted someone in the 7000 block of Valley Pointe who had questions about drone violations.

— A city ordinance violation was reported in the 29000 block of Fairway Bluff.

— There was an accident in the 9000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road involving a trailer knocking down a telephone pole.

— Officers were contacted about a missing dog in the 8000 block of Turning Leaf.

— A welfare check was done in the 29000 block of Mellow Wind Drive. Officers found everything was OK.

JULY 17

— An instance of trespassing was reported in the 8000 block of High Cliff Drive.

— A missing person was reported in the 9000 block of Jodhpur Drive.

— A resident reported found a dogin the 7000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road. They told law enforcement they would hold onto the dog until they located the owner.

— Leon Springs FD was called out to the 8000 block of Jodhpur for issues with a faulty outlet.

— A suspicious person was reported in the 29000 block of Ralph Fair Road.

JULY 18

— An officer assisted a vehicle in the 7000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway with its hazard lights on. The officer found everything was OK.

— An ambulance was called for a male in the 9000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway. The male was transported to a local hospital.

— A dead deer was reported in the Fair Oaks Parkway/Windermere area. The carcass was removed from the area.

— An officer was called to the intersection of Keeneland and Battle Intense for a vial with a foul substance in it. The officer was unable to locate the vial.

JULY 19

— An animal call was reported in the 7000 block of Windermere Drive for a cat stuck on the roof. The officer was successfully able to get the cat off the roof.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the Leslie Pfeiffer and I-10 area. Law enforcement contacted the vehicle and found everything was OK.

— A male was reported to be soliciting around the 29000 block of Oakview Ridge. An officer spoke with the man and explained the local city ordinances to him.

— A cow was reported wandering in the 31000 block of Ralph Fair Road.

— Another suspicious vehicle was reported in the 9000 block of Dietz Elkhorn Road. An officer spoke with the driver and advised them to leave.

JULY 20

— An ambulance was called to the 29000 block of Summit Ridge, where a male was transported to a San Antonio hospital.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 7000 block of Valley Crest. Law enforcement looked in the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

— A noise disturbance was reported in the Cibolo Run/Battle Intense area. Law enforcement came to the location and did not hear anything obscenely loud.

JULY 21

— A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 30000 block of Keeneland Road. Law enforcement found that everything was OK.

— A loose dog was reported in the 7000 block of Turf Paradise. The owner of the dog was successfully contacted.

— An individual reported a woman suspected of being intoxicated while driving in the 9000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway. Officers contacted the driver and found she was sober.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

July 17

7:43 a.m., 100 block of Mallard Drive — A caller reported he had approached a driver and the driver reclined his seat back. The caller was concerned the driver was trying to hide. Law enforcement came to the location and found everything was OK.

8:39 a.m., 100 block of River Ranch Road — A caller reported someone had broken into her bathroom window during the night.

10:28 a.m., 39000 block of W I-10 — A caller reported having mailed a check and then someone stole the check, changed the name and cashed it.

2:36 p.m., 1000 block of Fifth Street — A caller reported his neighbor had told him a homeless man was sleeping by the caller’s fence line. Law enforcement spoke with the man and advised him to sleep elsewhere.

 

JULY 18

9:41 a.m., 400 block of E. Highway 46 — A caller reported driving behind a vehicle that had hit a guardrail and scraped it while driving. The caller explained the driver then swerved into oncoming traffic and was driving erratically. Law enforcement located the vehicle and found the driver was distracted by a recent breakup.

11:37 a.m., Cypress Creek Road — A caller reported someone who had stolen a check from the caller for over $2,000.

1:31 p.m., 200 block of Crabapple Road — A caller reported a variety of items had been stolen from his barn.

3:59 p.m., mile marker 545 W. I-10 — A vehicle was reported on the side of the road with a fire beside it. Boerne FD came to the location and temporarily closed a lane of traffic while they extinguished the fire.

JULY 19

1:34 a.m., 2700 block of FM 473 — A caller reported someone came to his front door, yelling that a flood was coming.

3:58 a.m., 100 block of Dodge Road — A caller reported occupants of two vehicles, concerned they were involved with recent break-ins. Law enforcement found the occupants were picking up clothing.

9:25 a.m., 10000 block of Johns Road — A goat was on the side of the road, looking for his Friday night plans.

11:07 p.m., Thunder Valley Road — A caller reported she was being harassed by a man she had met on a dating app. The man was threatening to release explicit photos of the woman.

JULY 20

3:39 a.m., 600 block of Front Street — Law enforcement reported an intoxicated driver who initially wouldn’t open the door of his vehicle. The driver eventually opened his door and he was subsequently detained.

2:52 p.m., 200 block of FM 1376 — A caller reported another vehicle had sideswiped another vehicle, then driven off.

4:46 p.m., 400 block of E. Highway 46 — A head-on collision was reported. One of the drivers was trapped in their vehicle, another occupant was unconscious. EMTs were called to the scene and transported people to the hospital.

5:48 p.m., 100 block of Marquardt Road — A caller reported two men, each with a beer in their hand, driving down the road.

JULY 21

9:03 a.m., 100 block of Resty Run — A caller reported he had trapped a feral cat.

5:52 p.m., 100 block of Dresden Wood — A caller reported he had been out-of-state for several days and now he had fraudulent out-ofstate charges on his credit card.

8:42 p.m., 100 block of Water Street — A caller reported a male driver who had driven around the neighborhood really slowly.

JULY 22

6:43 a.m., 100 block of Spanish Pass Road — A caller reported seeing someone in a ditch who was raising their hands. EMS was called out to check out the individual.

9:08 a.m., 300 block of Remington Drive — A caller reported finding money under her doormat and was concerned it was a new scam.

11:04 a.m., 100 block of Kendall Ridge — A caller reported a trapped armadillo.

11:44 a.m., Staudt Street — A caller reported a license plate had been stolen.

1:02 p.m., Kasten Road — A caller reported her Facebook account had been hacked and the hacker had been collecting money.

JULY 23

1:17 a.m., mile marker 544 E. I-10 — A caller reported a vehicle slid off the road and into the median. An infant was reported to be temporarily stuck in the vehicle.

7:31 a.m., 200 block of Ammann Road — Eight sheep were reported to be out on the road having donuts.

9:52 a.m., 200 block of Sky View Drive — A caller reported someone had stolen her trash can. Dispatch noted that it was suspected that the truck had accidentally dumped it in. The trash cans will live to see another day.

8:46 p.m., 100 block of Highway 87 — A caller reported a beat-up truck was flashing lights at the caller. When the caller approached the other vehicle, it quickly sped off.
