Farrell competes at National Junior High Finals Rodeo

Ryan Farrell recently competed at the National Junior High Finals Rodeo in Des Moines, Iowa, as part of the Texas National Junior School Rodeo Team.

Farrell, from Welfare, had two solid runs in the first two rounds which earned her a spot in the short round on Saturday night.

The short round is the final round where they take the top 20 out of the 200 competing. She had her fastest time of the week in the short round and finished 5th in the round and she ended up No. 10 in the barrels competition in the world in her age group.

Farrell’s performance helped Team Texas win the girls team title, and in the end, Texas made it a clean sweep, winning the boys team and overall team titles as well.
