THE BOERNE CHAMBER will hold a ribbon- cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. for Texas Treasures Fine Art Gallery & Frame Shop, 265 N. Main St., to celebrate its new location.
BOERNE COMMUNITY THEATRE presents “Poetic License,” the story of two women 20 years out of college; one is happily married, the other is divorced. When their college poetry professor — who they both had a crush on — returns to town, they are both wooed by him, much to the consternation of the husband who feels he cannot compare to the handsome professor. A light romantic comedy by Texas playwright Carl Williams. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.; tickets are $20-24 at the box office, 907 E. Blanco Road in Boerne. The show continues weekends through July 21. BLUEGRASS JAM: Bring an instrument and play along or just come to listen to the Bluegrass Jams, while exploring the exhibits and grounds, at The AgriCultural at 102 City Park Road. Music runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is a free event; donations welcome.
FARMERS MARKET TIME: Whether you want to hike the trails, shop in the open air, get gardening inspiration, take classes on growing your food, help the Cibolo Center for Conservation maintain the land through volunteer service projects or get new recipe ideas, the Farmers Market is on track from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Road.
HISTORIC TOUR DAY with the Kuhlman-King Museum tour and the Old City Jail Museum tour. The Kuhlman-King Home is one of the older home sites built in old Boerne and is full of antiques and docents ready to tell you all about them; 402 E. Blanco Road, noon to 3 p.m. The Old Jail Museum tour (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) is of the Kendall County Historic Jail, built in 1887 and restored in recent years. $5 for adults, free for children 10 and under.

HAPPY TAILS LIBRARY visit: The Happy Tails Mobile Petting Zoo rolls into the Patrick Heath Public Library from 10:30-11 a.m. to introduce guests to a variety of animals, from goats, to cows, horses and pigs.
BOERNE VILLAGE BAND: “Abendkonzerte” is a family-friendly summer concert series from 7:30-9 p.m. every other Tuesday held on Main Plaza during the summer months, celebrating Boerne’s German heritage. The Boerne Village Band, founded in 1860 by German immigrant Karl Dienger, is the oldest continuously active German band outside of the Republic of Germany. Come hear them play traditional German folk songs. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and the family for this free event.
BOERNE FARMERS MARKET returns for its bi-weekly 4-7 p.m. offering in front of the former Kendall County Courthouse, at 402 E. Blanco Road in Boerne. The market specializes in locally grown and produced agricultural products, prepared foods, and artisan specialty goods, bought and sold for the benefit of the consumer and producer.

JESSE STRATTON BAND plays the “Live! At The Library” series from 7-9 p.m. at the Heath Public Library amphitheater, 451 N. Main St. in Boerne. Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, Stratton is a deep-rooted alternative country-Americana artist, the lead vocalist and songwriter of his band who also plays guitar, saxophone and harmonica.

MOVIE NIGHT In The Park features “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish!” on Main Plaza. The movie starts at sundown but come early for some pre-movie fun starting at 7 p.m. Bring blankets, lawn chairs and snacks while enjoying some free entertainment before the movie.
