BLOCK PARTY BY BLACK Rifle Coffee Company: Join the Black Rifle Coffee Company team alongside their neighbors at E. San Antonio Avenue for a block party featuring live music, food, drinks and a car show. The party begins at 6 p.m.

WEEKLY DAY CAMPS at The Cibolo during “A Quest at the Cibolo.” For children between 5 and 12 years old, the week-long sessions include Nature Camp, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and Art Camp, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Each week will focus on a different aspect at The Cibolo; they’ll join teams, play games, do STEM activities, hike, learn archery, sing camp songs and more, all while exploring nature. JULY 10

SOUND OF HOPE screening by SJRC at 1 p.m. at the AMC Theater, 205 Old San Antonio Road. The SJRC Texas hosts a free screening of “Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot.” The event is free but registration is needed: Register at www.eventbrite.com.

JULY 11

BOERNE AREA DEMOCRATS meet at noon at the Longhorn Cafe, 369 S. Esser Road. Guest speaker is Roy Quillian, an experienced personal injury lawyer who has been licensed for over 50 years. The meeting is open to the public.

THE GREATER BOERNE Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon- cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. for Sitterle Homes, at their model home, 103 Cinnamon Creek; and at 1:30 p.m. for XCEL Business Brokerage, 616 E. Blanco Road 201-A in Boerne.

THE BOERNE CHAMBER will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. for Texas Treasures Fine Art Gallery & Frame Shop, 265 N. Main St., to celebrate its new location.
